Reiki is a gentle, yet extremely powerful form of energy healing which animals are very receptive to. Using Reiki with them can accelerate their healing process, ease pain and improve quality of life without causing stress or discomfort. Of course, Reiki is never a substitute for proper veterinary care, nor does it diagnose specific medical problems, but it is a wonderful healing therapy that complements professional treatments by rebalancing energy in a completely safe and effective way.
So, what are the specific benefits of Reiki for pets?
- Because Reiki is healing energy, it will never harm your pet.
- It can be given to any type of animal.
- If your pet has emotional problems due to a prior traumatic situation such as abuse, neglect, or being hit by a car, Reiki can help release and heal those problems.
- For behavioural issues such as nervousness, anxiety, hyperactivity, depression or skittishness, the power of Reiki can help.
- For a pet coming to a new home, Reiki can be a great help in the settling-in process (both for the pet and her/his new co-habitants...animal and human!)

I do not need to physically be with your pet in order to give Reiki, all I need is a photograph and the animal's location in order for me to send healing. So I can, quite literally, send powerful Reiki for your pet's highest good, wherever you are in the world!
